Captan interferes with the integrity of the fungal cell membrane of the fungi, which is a critical structure that maintains the internal environment of the cell and regulates the passage of nutrients and waste. This leads to disintegration of the cell, hence elimination of the fungi.

Fungi can harm crops by causing diseases, post-harvest losses, reducing seed quality, and resulting in economic losses and lower crop yields. Effective management measures are essential for mitigating these impacts.

Mode of Action

– For best results, use BIJATAN as a preventive spray to protect plants from fungal diseases.

– Apply BIJATAN evenly over the targeted areas using a knapsack sprayer for uniform coverage.

– Fill sprayer tank at least half full with clean water.

– When using wettable powders, it is recommended to add them to the sprayer tank first and allow them to completely suspend before adding other products.
